We use a concept-based syllabus in DynEd courses. Concepts are the smallest elements of meaning/information that are communicated. For example:
Concept of 'Point of time':
Now, at 2:00, in an hour, after arriving in London, etc…
In the sentence ' When people get old, they often stop working', the first half of the sentence 'when people get old' is point of time, the second half 'they often stop working' is event.
